DIGITAL
SLIDE SCANNING and COPYING -
100 x 40 mm; 50 x 50 mm mounts and View-Master reels
Film scanners provide the ultimate results in
terms of image quality when large prints are required but the scanning
process is slow and exacting. Many modern flatbed scanners are
supplied with transparency adapters. Carrirers for slides or
negatives can be copied or modified for 3D requirements.
On-camera duplicator/copier attachments for both compact and SLR's also
provide an opportunity to convert slides to digital. A 1 - 1
macro lens mounted onto an Digital SLR can be trained onto the slide with an
apptoriate backlight or even a slide projector. All options are
explored here.
