Building the Aldous/Leitz
Projector
This example of DIY projector serves to point
out some 'tricks of the trade' rather than to provide a definitive
solution to stereo projector construction. The Leitz
P150
Figure 1.was
chosen on a cost basis and the decision was somewhat misguided as
we shall discover in the text to follow. However, I have now
got a projector that is light in weight, quiet and cool running.
We will be looking at:
Which bits to keep and which to throw away.
New housing construction.
Modifying donated parts.
Cooling problems.
Making and obtaining additional parts.
