| My name is Barry Aldous and I live in the town of Ramsbottom, situated in the
North West of England, some 8 miles north of Manchester.
As a retired engineer, I spend much of my leisure time
on Stereo photography and related projects.
The areas of Stereoscopic photography in which I most
enjoy working are digital still
and video; Computer based image manipulation and the production of digital
3D AV shows are high in my list of
activities.
In addition to being a member of the local Bury Cine
Society, I am a member of the Stereoscopic Society, Third Dimension Society,
for who I am the webmaster of
www.thirddimensionsociety.org. I am also
a member of the International
Stereoscopic Union (ISU).
In my stereo photography, I use a Canon 10D and 5D digital Cameras along twinned
Fuji and Sony models. I also use a 3D Advantage, Tri-Delta splitter with
an Olympus Z 1200 aboard.
My video work involves the use of twinned Sony
camcorders.
I like to present my stereo prints in ViewMagic format and Side by Side
cards. I project my film slides using a home made projector and digital
shows using two Acer PD 523 projectors.

Projects please do so:
