Suzy’s Little Big Band is a 5-piece band playing modern jazz standards, and music from the big band era.

Suzanne Fonseca (Leader) - Trombonist daughter-in-law to the late Frank Fonseca, who's son Jeremy also plays Trombone, Suzanne has an interesting musical background, mainly with local orchestras and big bands.

Frank Fonseca - Frank has played guitar for more years than he will admit to.  He began his musical career in Shanghai and Hong Kong, where he lived until the 1970s.

Sadly Frank is no longer with us, but as a tribute to this fine musician,, his name and picture will remain on this page for some time to come.

Wal Davies - Wal is an established jazz mainstream saxophonist who is a front-line performer with various North West jazz ensembles.

Paul Medina - As well as being in great demand as a bass player with various jazz ensembles Paul also plays bass trombone.

Until recently, the band played regularly at the De La Salle Rugby Club in Salford, but is soon to open at a new venue in Ramsbottom.  The following list indicates the programme arranged so far.  All the sessions will start at 8.30pm with a door charge of £4
