Supervised the construction of the Wanganui Bridge at Victoria Ave. Taupo Bay.
Finished in 1871. Also the Hutt Railway from Pipitea Point to the Hutt, finish
in 1873. Inspector of the construction of the railway line from Wanganui to
Marton, also the railway bridge ar Aramoho. In 1877 he was City Overseer for
the Wellington City. He built the first telegraph office in the South Island
at Raikoura. He was also lightohouse keeper for the Dog Island Light.[Manning.FTW]
