Sidney Griffiths spent his early years training to be a French Polisher. However, following a short time at Robinson's engineering works painting machinery, he became the Caretaker for Trinity Methodist Chapel on William Henry Street, Rochdale (now demolished). The house that came with the Job is still in existance at 53 Well I'th Lane.[Aldous_4.FTW]
